M: I wonder at what point I will realize the reality of the present moment as I beg this bird to come sit near me, by the window.  I am animal friendly.  I’m warm-hearted, only unlike you I am no bird. You’re a bird.  We could be less alike from one another other, definitely.  Please, come sit near me.  I promise we’ll have a good time.  Let’s look closely at one another without feeling at first, but with a very serious amount of inquiry.  A good time.  In the meantime, I imagine the quality of your eyes.  Oilier looking; curved.  Right now we’re both looking critically at the world, aren’t we?  If so, we are doing the same thing, so really…just come sit by the window.  Are you able to see fragmented lines? circles? Do you recognize them as such? When thinking about the world, in bird’s eye view, I just imagine a table set for dinner.  Flatware handed down over and over. The china passed down a few times more.  All of the silver began tarnishing at different times and different speeds depending on the hands that were laid upon it.  The heaviest silverware is always the most pleasurable to eat with.  It’s not the same for china simply because certain food can only be served on certain china, the rules behind which are unimportant as long as you agree.  I know you would enjoy spending a luxurious afternoon here with me.  There are teacakes and I don’t mind if I do.  Poppy SEED teacakes. You keep looking at your birdie bathwater out back, it won’t go anywhere.  I may, though! If you continuously ignore the connection between us.  If we think about this logically…Come over here, rest with me.  To be consistently reminded of the nature of things is such a drag.  You know, I have friends in New York who have said that pigeons will hole up in dark, hollow building fixtures for days even.  Sometimes multiple pigeons, bumping their deformed, miniature turkey bodies into one another, sitting in the same place as they gently coo the day away, back and forth.  Albeit shocking, they sit politely.

**I’m reminded of the usefulness of cooling a fresh pie on the windowsill**

The table has been set for four days.
